Gina Marie Hathaway's Obituary
Gina Marie Hathaway passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 with her loving family by her side following some recent health challenges. She was 59 years old.Gina was born on July 30, 1956 in Bristol, Virginia, the beautiful daughter of Carolyn (Pope) and Bobby Joe Crusenberry. She moved to Southwest Florida and was married to Johnny Ray Hathaway and helped him to provide “Music for All Occasions.” She was often in his company at many of the local clubs, restaurants and lounges throughout Fort Myers and Cape Coral whenever he was providing the entertainment. Gina was also an employee at Soma and was proud to be affiliated with the Chico’s Group of retail stores.Gina was known by many and loved by all. She will be sadly missed by everybody she leaves behind, especially her daughter Andrea Aspiote; parents Carolyn and Bobby; sister Pam Morenings; grandchildren Josh, Sammee, Kaillee, Rylee, Dawson, Landen, Trevor, Kynlea and Trenton and her special friend Jo Puglisi who provided such outstanding comfort and care for Gina during her final days. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her husband who died in 2014.A Memorial Service in Gina’s hometown of Bristol, Virginia is being planned by the family for a future date.
