Giuseppina Colacioppo's Obituary
Giuseppina Colacioppo, 92, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 2000, formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 in Fort Myers, FL. She was born May 18, 1927 in Italy to the late Antonio and Maria D’Angelo.
Giuseppina loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought lots of happiness to her life. She was a joyful woman who liked sitting outside in the warm Florida weather knitting shawls and blankets for all of her loved ones. She enjoyed playing canasta, watching Italian soap operas, drinking a nice cup of coffee and cooking delicious Italian food. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pietro Colacioppo in 1988; two grandchildren, Anthony Harari and Tara Colacioppo; one brother, Pierino D’ Angelo; one sister, Rita D’Angelo Ricci; as well as her son-in-law, Joseph Armiger.
Giuseppina is survived by her three loving children, Alfonso Colacioppo of Baltimore, MD, Antonio Colacioppo of Baltimore, MD and Ana Lucia Armiger of Fort Myers, FL; two brothers, Renato D;’Angelo of Baltimore, MD and Franco D’Angelo (Shirley) of Baltimore, MD; 13 grandchildren; as well as 21 great grandchildren.
Services for Giuseppina will be held in Maryland where she will be laid to rest with her husband in Dulaney Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.
