Our Dearest Auntie Bern:
When we were sad, you made us laugh.
When we had no voices, you gave us the words.
When we were tired and wanted to give up, you always told us “It’s a long road that doesn’t have a bend in it.” It’ll get better. Just you wait, you’ll see!
Today, we are smiling Auntie Bern because we know you are gloriously happy once again.
We know you have been guided home to the loving arms of your long lost family and friends once again.
Until the next time Auntie Bern, we will recall with love and sorrow how much you impacted our lives. We will miss terribly your heartfelt and timely phone calls that would always conclude with these uplifting words “Take care, because we love you.”

SINCERE SYMPATHY to Sandra and family on the passing of Bernice, She lived a long, good life. I remember going with Herbert & Bernice to stay a few days with them in Sarnia when they lived on Mitton St.. I was probably only 10 yrs. old. It was a joyful thing for a little country kid to do, I loved both Bernice & Herb. They treated us so well when we visited them at their beautiful home in Florida. Thank you for coming into me and Brynlee’s life 4 years ago. We are so thankful to be able to call you our Nan. Thank you for the endless laughs, pizza dates and the millions of shopping sprees even when you got mad that they didn’t have what you wanted. We will miss you tons!
Nan will be truly missed by us. Her kind hearted, outspoken voice and smiles will never be forgotten. We made lots of memories shopping, laughing and having pizza lunches. When I would visit her, a day never went by where she didn’t ask about how Krystie and Brynlee were doing when I visited her. She loved Brynlee like she was one of her own. I will miss our phone calls and visits with Nan so much! We love you Nan! 💗
I am saddened to hear of Bernice's passing. Bernice was my neighbor on Coralee Avenue for about 9 years in the 2000's. I bought the house from her (it was right next door) along with a friend of mine (who has also passed) and she was one of the best neighbors ever. She taught me everything I needed to know about taking care of my fruit trees and keeping the property up to par. She also taught me a lot about how to stick up for myself, get what I deserve - good or bad - and how to survive hurricanes! And who could forget her Butter Tarts! She was a good friend to me. I'm thankful I got to have a phone chat with her a few months back, but sorry I never got over to the Terraces to see her. My deepest sympathy to all of Bernice's family. May she rest in peace. Sympathy goes to Sandy , Curtis , Bradley , Richard , Reuben plus your Entire Families . We are so saddened to hear about Aunt Bernice . She was one of a kind and loved her family and our chats every month . Her and Ron use to talk on the phone for an hour and it always ended up with Politics they loved talking about it . Even after Ron passed she called me every 2 weeks to see how I was doing just loved her . . Aunt Bernice was always caring about everyone we enjoyed her visits here in Canada plus when we went to her place in Florida . She always treated us as her own . She always talked about her grandkids and great grand daughters she loved them dearly . Thinking of you all at this difficult time .
