Gladys Diminich Pesch, 90, a Key Biscayne resident since 1960 passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 in Ft. Myers, FL. She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador in August 1928 to Humberto and Lucia Diminich, now deceased.Gladys was a super mom, doting on her three children and her many nieces and nephews who frequently visited her from Ecuador. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and loved camping with the Girl Scouts. Gladys was a highly respected real estate professional for many years, prominent in the Brickell and Key Biscayne markets. Gladys was a world traveler and spoke several languages. She loved studying history and could capture one’s attention for hours regaling stories of the great European aristocracies.She is survived by her three children, Robert N. Pesch, Jr. of El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain, Carolyn Eakins (Walter) of Ft. Myers, FL and William Pesch of Key Biscayne, FL; two sisters, Mene Castro of Guayaquil, Ecuador and Alice May of Pompano Beach, FL; one brother, Edgar Diminich of Guayaquil, Ecuador; four grandchildren, Walter III., Christina, William and Caroline; four great grandchildren, Logan, Ava, Audrey and Noah; as well as many extended family members and friends.Arrangements for final care have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555.
