Gladys Milagros Riccobono, 51, a resident of Ft. Myers, FL since 2001, formerly of Oviedo, FL passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Ft. Myers, FL. She was born December 29, 1966 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Jose Carlos and Maria del Pilar Pereira Calderon, now deceased.Gladys was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), for several years practiced in the field of auditing and corporate tax planning. In 2007 she opened a private-public accounting practice. To better serve her clients she earned the premier NACVA (National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts) designation of Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF). She also served the community by involvement in local charities including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, where she served on the Board of Directors as Treasure.Gladys loved the water. She loved the beach and was an avid boater. She also enjoyed her early morning rigorous two-hour workouts most recently at Planet Fitness and Crunch.She is survived by her loving partner, Richard DeStefano of Ft. Myers, FL; son, Derek Riccobono of Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Yolanda-Milagros Calderon Pereira of Puerto Rico; granddaughter, Arianna Riccobono of Cape Coral, FL; as well as many extended family members and friends.A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Doc Fords House at Fort Myers Beach, 708 Fisherman’s Wharf, Fort Myers Beach, FL .
