Glenda Anne Wallace's Obituary
Glenda Anne (Cook) Wallace went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 24, 2022. She was residing at the Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers, Florida. Glenda left behind many close friends and family, which extend from Carleton County in New Brunswick, Canada to the Boston, MA area and to Fort Myers, FL. Glenda is predeceased by her husband Loran Wallace, as well as her sister Janice Smith, and her brother Jim Cook. Glenda left behind her cherished nephews and nieces, Tony, Terry (Kathy) and Tim Smith, Barry and Keith Cook and Lorelei (Cook) and Eric Girouard, Carla (Kitchen) Trivino (Husband Jose and son Dillon), Stephen and Cindy Kitchen, and sisters in law Elizabeth Cook and Elsie Kitchen.
Glenda valued more than anything her faith in Christ. That faith could be witnessed in her commitment to children and education. Glenda received her BA from Gordon College and her two masters degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Boston University. She was the founding director of Little Folks Fellowship Nursery School in Cambridge, MA, and the founding principal of Essex North Christian School in West Newbury, MA. Her warmth and kindness was felt by generations of children as she shared Jesus' love with them.
