Glenn C. Cartee's Obituary
Glenn C. Cartee, 70 years of age of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Mr. Cartee was born September 27, 1942 in Lumberton, Mississippi, a son of the late Glenn Cartee and Iva Jeroleen Davis Cartee. Glenn retired on 1996 from the State of Florida Department of Juvenile Justice after 20 years of service as an Intake Counselor. He proudly and faithfully served his country and was honorably discharged from the U. S. Army. He had resided in Florida for the past 30 years coming from Mississippi. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 18 years, LaVelle Cartee of Lehigh Acres, Florida; his daughter, Reisha (Robert) Ward V of Rogers, Arkansas and his grandson, Robert Ward VI of Rogers, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907, 239-936-0555.
