Glenn E. Irish's Obituary
Glenn E. Irish, 83, of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He was born August 20, 1931 in Renssalaer, NY and moved to Cape Coral in 1971. He attended St. Andrew Catholic Church and St. Michael Lutheran Church and was a former member of Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #2199. Mr. Irish leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years, Marcelina M. Irish; his children: Mary Ann Irish-Weimer and husband Peter of Cape Coral, Robert P. Irish and wife Barbara of Cape Coral, Paul J. Irish and wife Michelle of Tennessee, Philip A. Irish and wife Donna of Fort Myers, Patricia M. Bowling and husband Thomas of Lehigh Acres and Diane S. Rainas and husband, John of California; his grandchildren: Michael, Glenn P., William, Christopher, Thomas John Jr., Logan Thomas, Tisha, Noah, Philip Jr., Logan, Christopher, Cody, Ashley, Katherine, Brittney and John; his great grandchildren: James David, Ceeria, Dominic, Thomas John III, Madison and Sean. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Zehnder of St. Michael Lutheran Church officiating. Entombment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice of Lee County, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908 or to American Heart Association.
