Gloria Jean DeRosia's Obituary
Gloria Jean DeRosia, 78, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1993, formerly of Rochester, NY passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was born July 26, 1943 in Rochester, New York to the late Lionel and Mary Ellen (nee Sweet) Farmer.
Gloria was a bold, creative, beautiful, loving woman who nutured every person she met and brought a little magic into everyday. Remember her when you eat a delicious meal, she was the most amazing chef and no one ever left her house hungry. Remember her when you see the stitching in the creases of your clothes, there wasn't a fabric she found that she didn't have a vision for. Remember her when you see a sunset or a beautiful beach, her muse for all of her artwork. Remember her when you tie the bouncing bows and ribbons across the presents on Christmas eve or birthdays and smile, because a beautiful soul like hers was meant to be remembered for the joy she brought into our lives. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother, she was so incredibly loved, and cherished and her memory will live strong through our family for generations to come. She is already missed more than we can express.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her first born son, Michael. As well as 4 of her sisters; Sylvia, Elaine, Lynne & Carolee.
