Goldie Maxine La Fountaine's Obituary
Goldie Maxine La Fountaine (Fausey), went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2012 under the care of Hope Hospice.?áShe was born February 9, 1925 in Helena, Ohio to Orla and Hazel Fausey. She was Assistant Post Master at Helena, Ohio, owned and operated the Bark Inn Restaurant in Port Clinton, Ohio, operated the Creasant Hotel Restaurant on Put-in-Bay, Island, was hostess for the Billyle Supper Club in Toledo, Ohio, and prepared dinners for several churches in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, Florida.?áShe was very talented in flower arrangements and gardening. Goldie was a member of First Christian Church in Cape Coral and Southside Christian in Fort Myers. She is survived by her husband, Charles La Fountaine; daughters, Carol Ann Peterson (Tim), Kathy Skarbowski (Ray), Sandra Ramm; son, Keith La Fountaine; daughter-in-law, Sue; her pride and joy ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.?áIn addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Harold La Fountaine (Sue). Services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM, conducted by Dr. Keith Krueger of First Christian Church, 2620 Country Club Blvd., Cape Coral, Florida.?á Donations may be made in her name to: Hope Hospice of Fort Myers or the First Christian Church of Cape Coral.?áCondolences may be left online at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
