I have memories of Greg thru different ages and stages. He was always kind and often funny. My favorite memory is of Greg and Mike (Hill) perched on the neighbors split rail fence one night singing “Lordy wontcha buy me a Mercedes Benz”.
To all the members of his family, I’m so very sorry. You all will be in my prayers for comfort and peace.

Greg was a really special person. He always had a slight smile that said “Don’t worry; I’ve got this”. He grew up in a family in Lansing where each one was a beautiful person with a beautiful peace about them. I was not a Christian back then, but Greg’s family gave me a good impression of Christianity.
I remember when I was a teenager, I brought a girl friend over to their house, and they let me take their snowmobile and take her for a long ride in the park behind their house. That really let me make a good impression on her, for sure. That was just one example of what a loving family Greg was a member of, and how they would do anything for you.
Greg’s mother Pat died at an early age, and I am sure that was hard on Greg. It is hard to understand why some things happen in this life, and that is one of them. But I look forward to the day when they are all reunited, with healthy bodies that won’t get sick and die ever again.
I am really thankful that I had the chance to know Greg. Yes, he was a really special person.
