Gregory Wayne Prince of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away following a recent illness on Friday, September 5, 2014. He was 67 Years old.He was born on July 22, 1947 in Birmingham, Alabama, the proud son of Ethel (Rice) and Jack O. Prince. Gregory leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Todd Prince (Amanda) of Indiana, Andrew Prince (Stefanie) and Erin Prince-Bardes (Keith) both of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren Haley, Emmett and Miles Prince of Indiana; Alison and Sarah Prince of Fort Myers, and Kylie, Isaiah, Evan Prince and Shianne Bardes of Fort Myers and his sisters Mary P. Aperavich and Yvonne K. Prince of Boynton Beach, Florida. He will also be greatly missed by his extended family and the many people who were proud to call him a friend. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his parents.A Visitation will be conducted from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2014 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Memorial Service celebrated by Pastor Randy Williams of the Rock Church in Fort Myers will be conducted immediately following the Visitation at 1:00 PM. Upon conclusion of the service, family and friends will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Greg will be laid to rest in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum.Memorials: In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Rock Church in Fort Myers.Those who wish to offer condolences to the family at this difficult time are urged to visit Mr. Prince’s memorial webpage at www.fortmyersmemorial.com and sign the online guestbook.
