Harold Leon Crews' Obituary
Harold Leon Crews of Fort Myers, Florida passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 20, 2015 while vacationing at Iron Mountain, Tennessee. He was 79 years old.Leon was born on April 22, 1936 in Fort Myers, Florida, the proud son of Angie Violet (Schaffer) and Andrew Jackson Crews. He is survived by his wife Patricia Crews; son Lee Crews (Jessica); daughter Vivian Gutierrez (Hector); 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 4 siblings.A Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2015 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Visitation at Church will also be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM the following day, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Tice United Methodist Church, 4545 Tice Street, Fort Myers, Florida 33905, (239) 694-1256. Immediately following the Visitation, Pastor Norman L. Walker will celebrate a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM also in the church sanctuary. At the conclusion of services, friends and family will travel in procession to Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Leon will be laid to rest in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you instead make a contribution in honor of Leon to Lighthouse Sanctuary, Children’s Building Fund, P.O.
