Heckler ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á August 31, 2011 Harriett Heckler, 85, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on August 31, 2011.?á Harriett was born February 21, 1926 in Chambersburg, PA.?á She was the beloved wife of James R. Heckler.?á Harriett and Jim celebrated 64 years of marriage.?á They had two children, six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.?á Harriett and her husband moved to Fort Myers following ?áher retirement in 1982.?á She served as a teacher of cosmetology at several vocational and technical schools in central Penna.?á Her positive attitude and strong belief in quality of life made her a role model for family and friends.?á Surviving are her husband, James R. Heckler; daughter, Karen Stathas (husband Nick) and son, Jim Heckler (wife Lisa) both of Fort Myers, FL;?á Her six grandchildren, Ashley Stathas, Brooke Rahilly (husband David), Nina Vetter (husband Steffen), Justin Heckler (wife Kellie), Bronson Heckler and Jena Turner;?á two great-grandchildren, Chase Rahilly and Madison Vetter.?á A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Shell Point Village Church on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 11:15 AM.?á The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Heart Ass?ÇÖn., 28441 Bonita Crossings Blvd., Bonita Springs, FL 34135 or a charity of ones choice. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
