Harriette Ann Martin's Obituary
Harriette Ann Martin of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 following some recent health complications. She was 85 years old.Harriette was born in Laurel, Iowa on December 6, 1933, the beautiful daughter of Anna Margaret (Enright) and Harry Melbourne Kane. She spent her working years as a teacher at the Elementary School level and was the loving wife to Donald E. Martin who sadly preceded her in death back in 2014.A Mass of Christian Burial for Harriette will be celebrated by Father Thomas Heck at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 inside the sanctuary at St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903, (239) 567-2315. Following conclusion of the Mass, friends and family will be escorted by the Sheriff’s Office and will travel in procession to Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Harriette’s arrival at the cemetery will be greeted by a bagpiper’s tribute and following final prayers of commendation and committal by Fr. Heck, Harriette will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Don inside the Mausoleum located at the Garden of Serenity.Arrangements for Harriette’s final care have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
