Harry Dale Bargar's Obituary
Harry Dale Bargar, 96, of Fort Myers, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010. He was born December 12, 1913 in Cadiz, OH and as a child, moved to Linton, IN. He worked in the coal strip mines for 43 years before retiring in 1976. He moved to Jamaica Bay in August of 1989. Dale was a 32nd. Degree Mason and also a long standing member of many organizations including Zorah Shriners, Scottish Rite, Moose Lodge and United Mine Workers of America Local #1410. While working in the coal mines, he was a proud drag line operator in the Linton area. He was also a charter member of Peace Community Church in Fort Myers and enjoyed traveling and dancing. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 21 years, Mary Ann Bargar; his children: Freddie Wayne Bargar (Myrna) of Dugger, IN, Dale Lee Bargar (Anita) of Sebring, FL and Sierra Sue Hofmann (Gerald) of Terre Haute, IN; his sister, Eileen Yaw of Linton, IN and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons: Billy Mart Bargar and Gale Ray Bargar and his sister, Betty Kittle. A celebration of remembrance will be held at 1:00 PM on December 12, 2010 at Jamaica Bay. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Peace Community Church, Helping Hand Fund, P.O.
