Harry Robert “Bob” Jennison,78, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peaceful at the Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral on Saturday, May 4, 2019. He was born August 1, 1940 in Queens, New York, to Harry and Edna (Walker) Jennison. He married Kathleen Lambert on July 7, 1962 (March 6, 1945 – September 29, 2017).Harry joined the United States Air Force in 1960 during the Vietnam War and proudly served as an, A1C in the 92d Field Maintenance Sq. (SAC) as; a Jet Engine Mechanic on the B-52’s and was awarded the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He was Honorably Discharge in 1965. Harry was Self-motivated and a hard worker, who went on to learn Flooring Installation, was a member of the NYC District Council of Carpenters and eventually started a successful Carpet Installation & Repairs Business “C.S.K. Installers Inc.” in Saint James, New York. He semi–retired to Florida in 1996.Harry was a devoted and loving Father. He enjoyed spending time with, his Children and Grandchildren; Fishing, Boating, Swimming, Bowling, Riding Dirt Bikes, as well as, he spent many years volunteering for, The Boy Scouts of America Organization in both NY and FL. Harry also loved playing Poker, Traveling and get-togethers; any chance to spend time with his Family and Friends was important to him.Harry was known for his generosity; humor and outgoing personality. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.Harry is survived by his Children: Kerry (Richard Shelton) Jennison-Lotito of Cape Coral and Chris Jennison of Cape Coral; his Brother, Thomas (Nancy) Jennison of Oceanside, NY; his six Grandchildren; Brian, Twins Julie and Katie Lotito of Cape Coral; Angela Jennison and Heidi (Benoit Bekono) Jennison of Port Jefferson Station, NY and Natalee Akner-Jennison of Michigan; his Great-Granddaughter Jade Jennison & Great-Grandson Greyson Bekono of Port Jefferson Station, NY and his many loving Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and numerous other Friends and acquaintances.Harry was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister, Margaret Jennison and Twin Sons, Scott and William Jennison.Arrangements are currently being planned for Harry’s Funeral Service in Long Island, NY along with, Military Honors to be rendered at the Long Island National Cemetery and immediately following honors Harry will be laid to rest alongside his Son, William Robert.
