I am so very sorry to hear about his passing. My condolences go to his family. He was a good friend and he loved his family so very much. I hadn’t seen him since the early 70’s as he was a close friend to my first husband, Carl Burnett and a classmate of mine. Butch, you will be missed.
Butch and I became friends several years ago through Facebook. I contacted him to thank him for signing the guest book when my husband, Jud Hoopingarner died. It was so thoughtful of Butch to think of me when I needed a friend. We had many conversations over the years about me wanting to move to Florida and he always told me to “just do it!” I did finally move to Florida 2 weeks ago, but now my friend has gone. My condolences to Cheryl and the rest of his family. He was so proud of his family. It was an honor to call Butch my friend. ??
