Hazel Evelyn Clements, 97, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on July 13, 2011 at Charlotte Harbor Health Care in Port Charlotte, FL.?á Mrs. Clements was born October 10, 1913 in Bronx, New York, a daughter of the late Henry Ludwig Schmidt and Marguerite E. Armstrong.?á She was retired from Lone Star Cement Co. in New York City.?á She was the widow of Ambrose J. Clements who passed away in 1977. She was proud of her membership in the Farmingville Senior Citizens and had served faithfully as a past president.?á She is survived by her son, Robert A. (Carol) Clements, Sr. and her daughter, Joyce Anglim both of Punta Gorda, FL; her grandchildren, Patricia Puglia, Jacqueline Nolan, Robert Clements, Jr., Joseph Clements, Christopher Anglim, Thomas Anglim, Jon Anglim and Jennifer Anglim-Kreder;?á 21 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held in New York at a time to be announced.?á In lieu of flowers friends wishing may make contributions to their local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.?á Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
