Hazel Dunnett Stenzel's Obituary
Hazel Way Stenzel, 98, of Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. She was born January 1, 1919 in Rochester, NY and moved to Fort Myers 27 years ago. She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.Mrs. Stenzel is survived by her two loving sons: James G. Stenzel (wife, Karen) of North Fort Myers and Kenneth J. Stenzel (wife, Susan) of Marion, NY; her grandchildren: Jason, Aaron, Alicia, Michael, Tim, Jennifer, Stacey, Robert Jr., Sheena and Robin as well as her beloved great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Stenzel and her son, Robert W. Stenzel.A Memorial Service for Hazel will be celebrated by Pastor Lorrie Davison at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 10, 2017 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for a half hour preceding this service beginning at 9:30 AM also inside the funeral home chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in memory of Hazel be made to Saint Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3751 Estero Boulevard, Fort Myers Beach, Florida 33931, (239) 463-4251.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
