Helen G. Bittner's Obituary
Helen G. Bittner, 80, of Estero, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013. She was born September 25, 1932 in Elyria, OH and moved to Fort Myers Beach from Grafton, OH in 1969. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church. She loved boating, fishing, cruises, casinos and traveling around the world. Mrs. Bittner leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Jean Allen (Matthew) of Estero and Robert Bittner (Mary Jo) of Naples; her grandchildren: Shauna, Ashley, Lauren and Pierce and her great grandchild, Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dean Bittner in 1987 and her son, Kirk Bittner in 2008. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with inurnment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bittner’s memory to Lee County Domestic Animal Services, 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33912.
