Helen Irene Donnigan's Obituary
Helen I. Donnigan of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away after some recent health challenges, Thursday, June 2, 2016 in Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. She was 97. Helen was born February 6, 1919 in Kansas City, Kansas; the beautiful daughter of the late Fred William and Gladys L. Chandler. She worked her professional life as a secretary for Forest T. Jones Insurance Agency of Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier parish of Fort Myers, Florida. She was also a member of the Six Lakes Ladies’ Golf League. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Donald Donnigan (1998) and a daughter, Mary Ann Pritchett (2009).Helen is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Settle (Charles) and Janice Wolf. She is also survived by her son in law, Donald Pritchett. Helen is also the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.Funeral ceremonies for Helen will be private and she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
