Helen Morrison Johnson's Obituary
Helen Morrison Johnson of Fort Myers, FL and formerly of St. Albans, WV, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Evans Healthcare Center. She was 87. Helen was born May 12, 1927 in Huntington, WV and lived most of her life in St. Albans, WV where she was an active member of the Cross Lanes Baptist Church. She worked and retired as a supervisor with the State Department of Highways in West Virginia. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Fry “Pete” Johnson and her sister Dorothy M. Wurtz. Left behind to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at a later date in her beloved West Virginia.
