Helen L. Kaess' Obituary
Helen L. Kaess, 95, of Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was born June 9, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. Formerly from Westchester, NY she moved to Florida 25 years ago from Houston, TX. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of Admiralty Yacht Club on the grounds committee. She volunteered for Lee Memorial Hospital for more than 20 years, the soup kitchen and belonged to several bridge clubs. Her passions were gardening, knitting, sewing, bridge and volunteer work.Mrs. Kaess is survived by her three children: Dorothy of Little River, SC, Paul of Pinehurst, NC and Todd of Fort Worth, TX. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who lovingly refer to her as “GG”.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 8, 2018 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2439 McGregor Blvd.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
