Louis Piche
Helen had a love for travel from a young age. Like her Mother who made the journey from County Cork Ireland to find a new life in New York she was adventurous. Helen learned from her parents a work ethic that she would instill in her own family later in life. She worked hard saved up and set out to explore the world around her. First was Nova Scotia with girl friends. Later in the fifties she and girlfriends traveled to Williamsburg Va. to learn more of the early history of America. With the travel bug and want for adventure she applied at the CIA. By the time the CIA had vetted neighbors and friends Helen was married with 2 young boys and loving husband living in Florida. Travel was always part of the Piche Family alternating travel visiting family in New York for Christmas then Carter Piche’s mother in Florida. Later in Life Helen and Carter moved in with their son Louis who would continue tradition. She loved the trips the three would take multiple times to the Florida Keys. One of her favorite adventures was the open air Catholic Church in Key West at Christmas. Her final vacation was in her late Eighties with her husband and Louis to St. Augustine where they celebrated Thanksgiving at the Embassy Suites Oceanfront Resort.
