Henry P. Nigro's Obituary
Henry P. Nigro, 80 years of age, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Mr. Nigro was born March 19, 1933 in Newark, New Jersey, a son of the late Frank A. Nigro and Helen Farrel Nigro. Mr. Nigro was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Carol Nigro who died in 2002, and also by a son, Henry Nigro. Henry was a retired diesel mechanic and worked for many years in the transportation industry. He was a family man and was a hard worker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in May of 1955. He was a member of the Winkler Road Baptist Church and the Cool Cruisers Car Club. He had resided here since June of 1999. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Barbara McDonald of Toms River, NJ, Anthony (Sharon) Costello of Barnegat, NJ, David (Stephanie) Costello of Ft. Myers, FL, Michael Costello of Ft. Myers, FL, Danny (Linda) Costello of Northport, FL, Laura (Ken) Crabtree Lehigh Acres, FL, Anthony (Roseanne) Nigro of Spring Hill, FL, John (Diane) Nigro of Spring Hill, FL and Donna Bentley of Colorado Springs, CO; 27 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until time of service.
