Henry Edward Worrells,'s Obituary
Henry Edward Worrells, Jr., 95, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. He was a Retired Lithographer and a Letter Carrier with the US Postal Service. Mr. Worrells entered the US Navy November 24, 1936 in Richmond, VA and served until his retirement, December 1, 1958 as a Fleet Reserve Assistant. During his tenure with the Navy, he served aboard several ships including the USS Canacao, USS Augusta, USS Alcor and he was awarded 2 Bronze Stars. He was born June 2, 1918 in Marbury, MD to the late Henry E. Worrells, Sr and Ruth A. Worrells. He is preceded in death by his wife Anne Worrells (August 10, 1997). He is survived by a niece, Dorothy Wakulich of Miami, FL and a brother, Albert Worrells of Bonita, CA. A graveside memorial service with Navy Honors will be held 9am, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL.
