Herbert Lawrence Ramm's Obituary
Herbert L. Ramm, 82, of North Fort Myers, FL, passed away November 12, 2016 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL. Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Hospice House of Cape Coral, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909. Memorials: Hope Hospice. Herbert was born August 1, 1934 in Kinsman, OH, the son of Howard and Irene (Hunter) Ramm. Herb was a worker, always tinkering with something, painting, or engineering something new. He was employed at Westinghouse in Sharon, PA for many years until it shut down. He then went to work for Charlie’s Specialties, Seidle Hardwood and was also in business for himself, operating Ram’s Autobody. He sold White Tractors, Truck Caps for Ayr-Way Industries and helped operate Ram’s Downtown Restaurant with his son and was still operating Bike Boys in North Fort Myers with his son-in-law. He was a former member of Vernon United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death besides his parents was his wife of 58 years, Patricia Ann Nashtock Ramm, a son John Michael Nashtock, a grandson, Richard Dean Scharba, Jr., a great grandson, Colton Raymond Vickery and a sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Ramm. He will be sadly missed by his children, Vicki (James) Geyer, and Carla (Richard) Scharba both of Kinsman, OH, Tammy (Charles) Vickery of North Fort Myers, FL, Donald (Danielle) Nashtock of Burghill, OH, Troy (Jennifer) Ramm of Hermitage, PA and daughter-in-law, Pamela Lucky Nashtock of Cynthiana, KY, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and his sister Aletha Olenik of Canfield, OH.
