Horace L. Morris' Obituary
Horace L. Morris, 89, of Clewiston, FL, died May 19, 2017 at Hendry Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Horace was born December 2, 1927 in Albertville, AL, the son of, Gordon and Bessie (Mitchell) Morris. He married Patricia Ann and she preceded him in death. Mr. Morris was a veteran of the US ARMY serving in Germany during WW II. He was retired as a farmer. Horace was survived by his children Debra Morris of Clewiston, FL, Randy Morris of Clewiston, FL, James Morris of Clewiston, FL, Richard Morris of Naples, FL, Shawn Morris of Naples, FL; siblings, Louise Cheever, Macey June Walden, George Morris, Fargo Morris, Jerry Morris; 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Also preceding in death are his parents; daughter, Cathy Lynn Morris and sisters, Alfie Morris, Lois Hamm and Annie Jo Clegg. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Horace.
