Horace G. Smith's Obituary
Horace G. Smith, 92, of North Fort Myers, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015. He was born April 18, 1923 in High Point, NC and moved to Florida from Baltimore, MD in 1980. He retired from Montgomery Ward following over 30 years of service. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and member of Faith Assembly of North Fort Myers. Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 12 years, Constance Smith; his son, Danny G. Smith (wife, Betty) of Thomasville, NC; his grandchildren: Jeffery and Trent; 3 great grandchildren and his sister, Doris Wade of Burke, VA. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Passmore, earlier this year. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, December 4, 2015 at Faith Assembly, 7101 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, with Pastor Steve Anderson officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Private burial will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
