Howard Edward Taylor's Obituary
Mr. Howard Edward Taylor, Jr. of North Fort Myers, FL and formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at Hope Hospice – Cape Coral. He was 84. He was born April 15, 1944 in Utica, NY to the late Howard Edward Taylor, Sr. and Amenia Aurora Berthold. He joined the United States Marine Corps and served 20+ years before retiring as a Lieutenant. After retiring he resumed his commitment to his fellow veterans by serving as a Veteran’s Counselor for Disabled Veterans. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 57+ years, Carol Ann Taylor and a son, Howard Edward Taylor, III. He is survived by his children, Patricia Taylor, William Taylor, Denise Lavin, Richard Taylor and Ted Taylor. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A Graveside Funeral Ceremony with USMC Honors will be held 1pm Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL.
