Hyacinth E Marlowe's Obituary
Hyacinth E. Marlowe of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday, March 13, 2023 while under Hospice care for some recent health challenges. She was 94 years old.
Hyacinth was born on November 20, 1928, the beautiful daughter to Ida Maud (Anderson) and James Altimon Thorbourne. She spent most of her working life at International Business Machines (IBM) where she worked in the IT department. She was the loving wife to Manzie Marlowe who sadly preceded her in passing back in 2016.
A Funeral Service for Hyacinth will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 26, 2023 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555 with Pastor Dr. Dolphy Cross of Golden Gate Seventh-Day Adventist Church presiding. Guests will be welcome to attend a Visitation for Hyacinth for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 10:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of these services, friends and family will recess to adjacent to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Hyacinth will be laid to rest alongside her dearly departed husband Manzie inside the Mausoleum located at the Garden of Serenity.
