Inge Erna PrzystawikInge Erna Przystawik, 73, of Cape Coral, Florida died peacefully on January 1, 2013 as result of a brief struggle with cancer of the endometrium in Cape Coral, Florida. She is now re-united with her husband Gunter.Born in Berlin, Germany to her parents Erna and Otto Haufe. Married to Gunter Przystawik on February 24, 1961 and widowed on June 2, 1991. In 1964 Inge and Gunter moved to Cape Coral where the family has lived ever since. From the time she graduated secretarial college she was employed by Przystawik’s Tanzenden Fontanen and later Cape Coral’s Waltzing Waters.Inge and Gunter were Founding and Life Members of the German American Social Club and were integral in it’s foundation, growth and continued contribution to the community. As part of the early wave of residents she is considered one of the Cape Coral Pioneers. An avid bowler for 40 years. Both as a benefit of her work and later for pleasure Inge had the opportunity to travel throughout the world. Whether by bus, ship or plane no place was too far.She was preceded in death by her husband Gunter. She is survived by her sister Erika Haufe-Hamacher of Berlin, Germany; sons Michael Przystawik(Cathrin) of Cape Coral, Thomas Przystawik(Christy) of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren Kristina, Gunter, Annika, Amelie, Harper, Phoenix and Apollo.A private service will take place at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers please make contributions of Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
