Isidra Cruz's Obituary
Isidra Cruz, 85, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida since 2017, formerly of Puerto Rico passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023. She was born May 15, 1938 in Puerto Rico to the late Eulogio Cruz and Petronila Millan.
Isidra was an amazing strong women that brought light, happiness and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the central figure in the lives of her family and provided them unconditional love. Abuela (as we all called her) was always smiling, had a positive attitude and thought us to never give up and always fight. She loved to hear music, dance and to be surrounded by her loved ones. She will be profoundly missed.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Maria Vazquez Cruz of Puerto Rico; three sisters, Candita Cruz of Avon Park, FL, Petra Cruz of Puerto Rico and Manuela Cruz of Puerto Rico; two granddaughters, Margarette Vazquez and her husband Leo Godinez of Fort Myers, FL and Isaedmarie Febo and her husband Alejandro Perez of Clarksburg, MD; as well as two adored great grandsons, John Michael Rodriguez of Fort Myers, FL and Adrian Perez Febo of Clarksburg, MD.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.
