Ismael Saez's Obituary
Ismael C. Saez, 83, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away on October 15, 2010.?á Mr. Saez was born February 27, 1927 in Puerto Rico, a son of the late Leonicio and Rosa Claudio Saez.?á Ismael was an entrepreneur in sales for many years.?á He was a communicant of Jesus The Worker Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 10886 of Ft. Myers, FL.?á He had been a resident of Ft. Myers since 1954 and was one of the first Hispanics to relocate here and establish his family roots in Ft. Myers.?á Ismael was one of the persons instrumental in the establishment of the Spanish Community and helping relocate others and help with getting them employment.?á He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rafaela Rivera Saez;?á his children, Irma (Juan) Garcia, Juan Saez, Angel (Vicki) Saez, Israel Saez,?á Luis (Frances) Saez, Ismael (Pamela) Saez and Heriberto (Denise) Saez.?á 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.?á Visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 from 4-8 PM at Jesus The Worker Catholic Church, 881 Nuna Ave., Ft. Myers, FL.?á A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 12 Noon in the church.?á Interment will follow in Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
