Sophia and family,I am very sorry this message is so slow in coming; truth is I only learned of Jack's passing a few weeks ago. And I can't tell you how saddened I was to receive the news. I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Jack as a friend and colleague in "show" business for quite a number of years and I had always thought of him as simply one of the most genuine and kind people on the planet. I always looked forward to having the opportunity to spend time with him. He was a great influence on my personally, as he was to the entire events business – a true leader and visionary. It would do all of us well to remember Jack and his legacy – to remember all the people he touched in life and work. Dear Sophia and Family,I am so very saddened to hear of Jack's passing. Jack and I worked to together multiple times over a 25 year period. Whether you were working for him or with him, he treated everyone the same…with kindness and respect. I can honestly say that he was nothing but class and I've tried to emulate his approach in my own life and career.May you find some comfort in knowing how much he was loved. Some people say that in a life well lived, that is the most important measure. Jack was a mover in our industry. He is credited for starting several shows that strive up to this day. When at the helm of Supercomm, the show became the most successful event in that industry. Jack was always available to help members of our industry and champion causes that matter to all of us. He will be sorely missed but his memory will live within those he touched and beyond. "
