Sincere condolences to the family of my friend and fellow high school classmate Jack Underhill. I talked with him just before he was going into chemotherapy and he sounded so upbeat, feeling tired but reported little pain. I was shocked to learn he passed so quickly. He and I grew up together here on the beach. He was my first date. We walked over the swing bridge and saw a movie at the Beach Theater. He will be greatly missed by me and the other beach kids. Sorry I can't attend the family/friends gathering Saturday. I am leaving for St. Pete to spend birthday weekend with my daughter.
