I remember Jack as a teenager on Ft Myers Beach. A very nice guy. A friend indeed.
Jack was a devoted member of the Board of the Estero Island Historic Society, and stepped into the role of Treasurer after the untimely passing of our previous Treasurer, Leroy Hommerding. Jack was always friendly and willing to help with any needed tasks. He was reasonable and balanced, fair and accurate with finances, had great ideas and a fine sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around. We all miss him and mourn his passing. Condolences to Carol and his entire family.
I was shocked today as I was looking for obituary of a friend. Ken went into service with a jack and Bill Russell. Spent serval weekend with he and Carol in the mountains. The last time I spoke with Jack he called to tell us about Fussell passing I was not home called back he wanted to speak with Ken I had to tell Kenneth passed Jan 4 with COVID-19. These buddies all passed within 6 Months loved him.
