Jackie Lee Barker, 83, of Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019. He was born November 15, 1935 in Hazard, KY to Chalmer and Edna (Ritchie) Barker. He moved to Florida from Portage, IN in 1989. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.Mr. Barker is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon Rae Barker; his children: Sheryl Kirby (Don), Angel Clements (Thomas) and Mark Barker; his siblings: Irene Burt, Glenda Hollifield, Chalmer Donald Barker and Jean Bockhorst as well as 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Florene Wilson.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hope Hospice at: www.hopehospice.org or Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.There will be no local services.
