Jacqueline Rudyk's Obituary
Jacquiline Francis (Kearns) Rudyk, lovingly known as Jackie, passed away peacefully at her home in Punta Gorda, Florida, on January 9, 2026, at the age of 76.
Jackie was born on May 28, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Thomas Kearns; her sister, Barbara Moran; and her brother-in-law, Douglas Moran.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Rudyk; her sons, Bryan Rudyk and Jeff Rudyk; her four cherished grandchildren, Bradley, Jacob, Jordan, and Brianna; and her beloved great-grandchild, Grayson, who brought her immense joy.
Jackie graduated from BMC Durfee High School in 1968. She went on to work for Aetna Insurance, where she dedicated over 20 years of service as a data entry operator, known for her reliability and strong work ethic.
In her personal life, Jackie found happiness in the simple pleasures—being outdoors, camping, and traveling. She especially treasured time spent with her family and the community she built around her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Banquet Hall in Burnt Store Colony, located at 15550 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, Florida 33955.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the residents of Burnt Store Colony for their enormous support and kindness, and to Tidewell Hospice for their compassionate care and efforts in making Jackie’s final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
Jackie will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, love, and the lasting impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her.
