Jacqueline Z. Tissier, 96, of Fort Myers, FL, passed from this world May 24, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jacqueline, with her husband and two daughters, moved to West Palm Beach, FL, in 1964, and later to Fort Myers in 1983.A talented artist and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Jacqueline and her husband, Albert, worked in the retail business for many years, owning several Asian import stores in the Palm Beach area. Later, during the late 1970s and early 1980s, she lent her design talents to the fashion industry, working with the top designers of the time, orchestrating fashion shows and doing window design for a high-end women’s couture establishment on Worth Avenue.Jackie was known for her kindness, generosity, creativity, wisdom, beauty, and indominable strength. She loved nature, people, and life, touching the lives of many with her inspiring positivity and grace.Jacqueline is survived by her daughter Suzanne Tissier LaBounty and son-in-law Jeffery LaBounty of Fort Myers, and granddaughter Devon Roll and her husband Robert Roll of South Hadley, MA. In passing she joins her husband, Albert Tissier, and her cherished daughter, Andrea Tissier.In lieu of flowers, Jacqueline’s family asks that donations be made in her memory to Hope Hospice of Fort Myers, FL.
