Jacques Murat Janvier, 84, passed away March 16, 2012.?áHe was born December 22, 1927 in Saint Marc, Haiti to the late Gedeon and Filiamise (Simon) Janvier. He came to Lee County in 2011 from Port St. Lucie, Florida. He enjoyed church, fishing and soccer. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Clerizia; children, the Alexis family and the Williamceau family; Islande Janvier, Madame Murat Janvier, Elizenda, Jimmy, Andre, Rodrigue, Jerome, Mireille, Marie-Grace, Claudette, and Mariejoe Janvier; grandchildren, Marie Josee Janvier, Nodaud Jacques-Louis, Cheena Innocent, Regine Williamceau, Farnex Jacques-Louis, Myriam Faubert, Roseline Joseph, Naomie Cadestin, Laurie Cadestin, Marie Lena Cadestin, Sokolsky Janvier, Jaimie Janvier, Betsie Janvier and Dorft Janvier; and about 50 great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the Omega Haitian Baptist Church, 2711 Park Windsor Drive, Fort Myers.?áFuneral will begin at 12:00 noon.?áBurial will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
