Jadwiga Dorota Bielecki, a devoted mother, dedicated caregiver, treasured friend, and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2026.
Born on February 23, 1952, in Łódź, Poland, Jadwiga was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Karolina (Steplowska) Jaworski. She was raised in Łódź and carried with her throughout life the strength, determination, and resilience that would define her remarkable journey.
In 1980, seeking new opportunities and freedom, Jadwiga immigrated to the United States with her son Mariusz, settling in Boston, Massachusetts, where she sought political asylum and eventually became a proud American citizen. Making her home in South Boston, she courageously built a new life while remaining devoted to her family. In 1983, her husband joined her in the United States, reuniting after years apart.
Over the years, Jadwiga and her family established roots in Easton and Raynham, Massachusetts, before relocating to Cape Coral, Florida, in 1989 to be closer to family. There, she joined her loved ones in supporting a small family printing and mailing business that would grow into a successful enterprise.
Above all else, Jadwiga embraced motherhood as her life's greatest calling. She poured her heart into raising her children and creating a loving home. She was known for her endless care, home-cooked meals, unwavering love, and extraordinary work ethic. Her family always came first, and she found immense joy in nurturing those she loved.
Jadwiga also dedicated many years of service to Cape Coral Hospital. Beginning her career in housekeeping, she steadily advanced through various roles, working overnight shifts and in pre-operative services before earning her position as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Operating Room. Through hard work, determination, and compassion for others, she became a valued member of the hospital family and touched countless lives through her care.
Following her retirement, Jadwiga became a beloved resident of Canterfield Senior Living, where she was affectionately known as "The Queen." Her elegance was legendary. She delighted in dressing beautifully every day, wearing stylish dresses, perfectly matched shoes, carefully chosen jewelry for every occasion, and impeccably maintained nails. Her grace, sophistication, and vibrant personality brought joy to residents and staff alike.
Jadwiga had a passion for life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching Netflix and discussing every movie and series she watched, spending long hours on the phone talking with family and friend. She also enjoyed collecting beautiful clothing and costume jewelry, completing crossword puzzles, and filling her home with fresh flowers that reflected her appreciation for beauty and elegance.
She is survived by her loving children, Marty Bielecki and Karolena Bielecki, as well as the innumerable friends she made throughout her life. Her warmth, charm, generosity, and spirited nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In addition to her parents, Edward and Karolina Jaworski, she was preceded in death by family members who welcomed her into eternal peace.
