James Arthur Artale's Obituary
James Arthur Artale of Fort Myers, Florida passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 following a sudden health issue. He was 74 years old.He was born on September 28, 1941 in Staten Island, New York, the proud son of Alice (Sirignano) and Joseph Artale.Jim was successful at his first career in the energy industry where he specialized in the buying and trading of oil commodities. After relocating to Florida around 1988 his career changed to real estate but his hard work and commitment to achieving results did not. He became one of the most active Brokers in the Greater Sanibel, Captiva and Fort Myers area and was a consistent performer throughout the ups and down of the market right up until his untimely passing.He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife Alice; his daughter Susan and son-in-law Law Wright of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his daughter Sandra and son-in law Clint Lange of Cumming, Georgia and daughter Wendy and son-in-law Edwin Amerman of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren Braden and Drew Amerman, Katie and Jenny Lange and Hailie Henderson; brother Joseph Artale of New York and Joan Leanza of Fort Myers, Florida. He also leaves behind a number of extended family members and many more people who were proud to call Jim a friend.A Memorial Service for Jim will be celebrated at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the New Hope Presbyterian Church, 10051 Plantation Road, Fort Myers, Florida 33966, (239) 274-1230. Friends will be received at the church for a half-hour preceding this service beginning at 3:30 PM. At the conclusion of these ceremonies, friends and family will travel to Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Jim will be laid to rest at the Cremation Garden located in the Sylvan Terrace Section.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Youth Sunday School Program at New Hope Presbyterian Church.
