James Raymond Bataille Jr.'s Obituary
James Raymond Bataille Jr., 26, of Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 26, 2025, in Fort Myers, FL. Born on September 16, 1999, in Cape Coral, James was a vibrant and spirited young man whose presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Raised in Lehigh Acres, James attended Lehigh Senior High School, where he proudly played linebacker for the Lehigh Lightning football team. His passion for sports extended beyond the football field—he had a deep love for boxing and karate, showcasing his drive, discipline, and determination in everything he did.
James was known for his adventurous spirit and love of the outdoors. Whether he was casting a line while fishing or riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers through local trails, he found joy in the thrill of movement and the beauty of nature. Creative at heart, James had an eye for detail and an innate talent for hands-on work. He worked closely alongside his father at the family business, JB Constant, a moving and handyman service, where his work ethic and dedication were evident to all who crossed his path.
Above all, James was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving parents, James Bataille of Lehigh Acres and Nicole Thompson Graham of Lehigh Acres; siblings, Jada Bataille, Vincent A. Graham, Nicholas E. Graham, Jeremiah J. Bataille, Josiah J. Bataille, and Jovany J. Bataille; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Nahomie Bataille; maternal grandmother, Florence Thompson; extended family, Frederick Bataille, Joseph Etienne, Dorvil, Pierre, Damessous, and Alfred; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Oscar Lee Thompson Sr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Omega Haitian Baptist Church, 1421 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.
