James Mix Bullion, 95, of Fort Myers, FL died October 7, 2017 at his residence.Graveside services will be conducted, 12:30 PM, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Navy Funeral Honors Team.Memorials: Memorial Fund at Waynseboro, Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1700 Lyndhurst Road, Waynseboro, VA.James was born February 17, 1922 in Glens Falls, NY, the son of Chester and Elsie Mae (Wood) Bullion. He married Gladys Verle Dickson on December 31, 1946 in Takoma Park, VA. Together they enjoyed 70 wonderful years together.James was a veteran of the US NAVY. He later worked in the motel and lodging industry and retired as a manager after 32 years of service.Surviving are his wife Gladys; children, James Rick Bullion and his wife Betty Garey of Waynesboro, MD, Pamela Jean Kilby and her husband Michael of Fort Myers, FL; four grandchildren, and two great granddaughters.The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of James.
