James Lewis Collins Jr.'s Obituary
James Lewis Collins Jr. of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully at Lee Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 following some recent health challenges. He was 61 years old.
James was born in Fort Myers on January 18, 1962, the proud son to Barbara Elaine (Robinette) and James Lewis Collins Sr. Throughout the years, James loved being a locally-grown resident of Fort Myers and Southwest Florida and was proud to be a part of the family business started by his parents and still operated by the family these many years later, namely, the Flea Market of Ortiz Avenue.
A Funeral Service for James will be officiated by Pastor Graham A. Stein at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 21, 2023 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for Visitation and a Time of Gathering for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 11:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of the services inside the Chapel, James will be laid to rest at the Mausoleum located in the Garden of Serenity. At the family's request, the cemetery committal service will be private.
