I have a warm Cossairt connection. It is personal but before that it was magic. In 1994 I took over as FMHS swim coach and was looking for ways to boost team spirit and pride. Poof, like in a fairy-tale; a giant, green and white team banner appeared. I learned that the Cossairts had quietly orchestrated this acquisition. As our weekly swim meets became routine, I saw them on the pool deck â??rain or shine, near or far. I was introduced, â??these are Krissyâ??s grandparents.â? They were enthusiastic fans of not only Krissy but of every team member, fast or slow. Then they were Katieâ??s grandparents. They greeted me with smiles and hugs and I came to count on them for kind words through thick or thin. By the time Robby arrived at FMHS they were much more than Robbyâ??s grandparents and team fans. They were my fans, my friends, my supporters. I canâ??t find a picture of Mr. Cossairt carrying their folding chairs or of them sitting with the cheering section at poolâ??s edge, but those are the vivid images in my mind. Yep, I have great memories and a very warm Cossairt connection. Thank you for sharing Mr. Cossairt with me. My thoughts and love are with you all now and always. Fondly, Janeen Overman
