James Allen “Jimmy” Chandler, 45, of Fort Myers, passed away August 18, 2017 at Hospice House of Cape Coral surrounded by his family. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials: Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. Jimmy was born February 20, 1972 in Fort Myers, FL the son of Bernice Chandler and Buster Chandler. He was the owner and operator of Jimmy Chandler’s Automotive. As a mechanic in his own business, he will be remembered as a kind person and a friend to all. Jimmy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also admired aviation and different aircraft. More than that, he loved spending time with his two sons. Surviving are his children James Allen Chandler Jr of Alva, Jarrett Michael Chandler of Savannah, GA; mother, Bernice Jackson and her husband Bill of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Mandy Caylor and her husband Danny of Lehigh Acres, FL; niece, Riley Caylor and nephew, Daniel “Boone” Caylor of Lehigh Acres, FL. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Jimmy.
