James L. Keelor's Obituary
James L. Keelor of Bonita Springs, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2020 following some recent health challenges. He was 83 years old.
James was born on November 4, 1936 in Leachville, Arkansas to parents, Adell (Dollar) and Benjamin Keelor. He spent the majority of his career in the telecommunications industry, primarily working as a cable splicer for the telephone company. He was the loving husband to and leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife Ilene (Young) Keelor; daughter Susan A. Wesley (Michael); son James L. Keelor Jr. (Donna) and daughter Jaqueline Keelor. James also leaves behind a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, many extended family members and a multitude of others who were proud to call him a friend. Sadly, he was predeceased by his cherished son Douglas Keelor. James will be warmly remembered and fondly missed by all.
Immediate funeral arrangements are private and cremation rites will be accorded. A Memorial Ceremony will take place when Mr. Keelor's Urn is presented for Committal at his final resting place. This service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 25, 2020 inside the Field of Honor section at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555.
